When the passion for the craft is the only driving force, perks attached to the occupation of acting become secondary. Ajay Singh Chaudhary came with the dream of pursuing a career in acting and nothing has superseded that to date. Last seen in a cameo appearance in Tenali Rama, the actor is all set to return to the daily soap genre with Swaran Ghar four years after Rishton Ka Chakravyuh ended in 2018. Talking about what kept him away from daily soaps, he says, “It wasn’t a conscious decision and there is no specific reason for it. I was busy shooting for OTT shows. I was offered Swaran Ghar and I liked the subject. Also, Sargun Mehta, who is the producer of the show, is a dear friend. We worked together in Phulwa and continue to share the same bond to date. She felt that I could do justice to the character of Ajit in the show and here I am.”
