Bellator 232 official results: Douglas Lima wins grand prix, Paul Daley adds a KO to highlight reel
Bellator 232 took place Saturday at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The main card streamed on DAZN following prelims on MMA Junkie.
In the main event, welterweight champion Rory MacDonald (21-6-1 MMA, 3-2-1 BMMA) put his title on the line against former champ Douglas Lima (32-7 MMA, 14-3 BMMA) in a fight that doubles as the final of Bellator’s welterweight grand prix tournament. The winner earned a $1 million bonus. In the co-feature, Paul Daley (41-17-2 MMA, 7-4 BMMA) knocked out short-notice welterweight replacement Saad Awad (23-13 MMA, 11-10 BMMA).
