Brewers activate Christian Yelich ahead of Padres series

The Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday activated outfielder Christian Yelich from the 10-day injured list ahead of their series opener with the San Diego Padres in Milwaukee.
Yelich, 34, has missed the last month with a left groin strain. He last appeared in an April 12 loss to the Washington Nationals. Before that, he was batting .314 with 10 RBIs and a home run.
