Record rights fees as Norwegian broadcasters go all-in with men’s and women’s game
April 22 – Norwegian football has a new domestic rights deal, and it is a record. TV2, Amedia, and Schibsted have secured the 2029-34 cycle for a combined NOK820 million ($87.8 million) per year.
The previous deal, running through 2028, was worth NOK750 million a season and was itself a record when it was signed.
The package covers the men’s Eliteserien, the women’s Toppserien, the men’s first, second, and third divisions,
