Govt secures $500million for feeder roads nationwide
The government has secured $500 million from the World Bank to rehabilitate feeder roads across the country, President John Dramani Mahama announced on Thursday. Speaking during a stakeholder engagement at the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Wenchi, Bono Region, as part of the second day of his Resetting Ghana Tour, President Mahama said the funding is aimed at addressing the poor state of rural roads that link farming communities to major markets and transport routes.
