League year opens: Panthers agree to terms with five
CHARLOTTE The new league year began Wednesday afternoon, allowing the Panthers to start doing official business.
And they did a lot of it.
The team has agreed to terms with five free agents from other teams and five of their own this week, solidifying the depth chart and checking off a few major needs.
