Bongo mark Independence Day in black attire after DCE’s death

Residents of Bongo observed this year rsquo;s Independence Day with both celebration and grief following the recent death of the District Chief Executive, Joseph Abaah Akaseke. The solemn mood overshadowed the national celebration as many residents and officials wore black attire in honour of the late DCE, whose passing occurred just days before the event.
