We’ll hit the streets with cocoa farmers over price slash — Oppong Nkrumah
The Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has criticised government over the reduction in cocoa farm gate prices, describing the decision as unfair to farmers. The Minister for Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, has announced a cut in the producer price of cocoa from GH?3,625 to GH?2,587 per bag for the remainder of the 2025/2026 crop season.
