The New England Revolution re-signed captain Carles Gil to a contract extension through June 2028 that keeps the midfielder with the team through MLS's first summer-spring season in 2027-28.
No financial terms were announced for the deal, which replaces the contract extension Gil signed in 2024 that ran through 2026 with a one-year option.
