Washington Capitals forward Brandon Duhaime was fined $2,500 by the NHL on Wednesday for unsportsmanlike conduct that occurred while he was on his team's bench.
Duhaime reached out from the bench with his stick and jabbed Seattle Kraken forward Jacob Melanson during the second period on Tuesday night.
