NHL issues $5K fine to Red Wings D Ben Chiarot

The NHL fined Detroit Red Wings defenseman Ben Chiarot $5,000 on Tuesday for butt-ending New Jersey Devils defenseman Simon Nemec on Monday night.
The incident occurred in the third period of the Devils' 4-3 victory, and Chiarot was not penalized.
