Great Ethiopian Run draws record 55,000 participants
ADDIS ABABA, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- Ethiopia staged its largest Great Ethiopian Run on Sunday, with 55,000 runners filling the streets of the capital Addis Ababa for the 25th edition of what has become Africa's biggest road race.
The 10-kilometer event attracted its highest turnout to date and featured participants from 24 countries and regions, including Kenya and Uganda, under the theme "A Nation in 10 Kilometers
