Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong signs new Barcelona contract
MADRID, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona announced on Wednesday that Dutch international midfielder Frenkie de Jong has signed a new contract keeping him at the club until June 2029.
The extension means the 28-year-old will complete a decade with Barcelona, having joined from Ajax in 2019. De Jong has made 267 appearances for the club, scoring 19 goals.
