Padres star Fernando Tatis (wrist) not ready to swing bat
San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis' surgically repaired left wrist hasn't yet healed enough for him to swing a bat, general manager A.J. Preller told reporters Tuesday.
Tatis had the wrist re-examined on Monday in the Phoenix area by Dr. Donald Sheridan, who performed the surgery on March 16. Dr. Sheridan saw healing in the wrist but not enough to let him starting swinging the lumber.
