Blackhawks' Jujhar Khaira released from hospital
Blackhawks forward Jujhar Khaira was released from a Chicago hospital on Wednesday, one day after he was removed from the ice on a stretcher.
Khaira was injured after receiving a shoulder-to-chest hit by New York Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba in the second period of the Blackhawks' 6-2 loss at the United Center. Khaira's head was down as he looked for the puck at his skates. No penalty was assessed on the play.
