Salvador Perez homers twice as Royals handle Yankees
Salvador Perez celebrated the 10th anniversary of his MLB debut with a pair of home runs as the Kansas City Royals defeated the New York Yankees 8-4 on Tuesday night.
It was Perez's fourth multi-homer game this season and the 10th of his career.
Josh Staumont (2-2) earned the win. He struck out three of the four batters he faced. Nestor Cortes (0-1) took the loss after giving up five runs (four earned) on seven hits in
