Rijiju defends decision to rename Motera's stadium after PM Modi
Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday defended the renaming of the refurbished Sardar Patel cricket stadium here after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the sports complex, as a whole, remains in the name of the country's first home minister. The stadium, which has a capacity of 1.32 lakh, was inaugurated by President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday.
