'No Mum police FIR in Rajput case, statements invalid'
The Union government told the Supreme Court on Thursday that there was no legal sanctity in the recording of statements of 56 people by Mumbai police in the suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput as the state police had not registered an FIR that empowers police to legally investigate a crime.
