Shinhama edges Stolz to win men's 500m at ISU Speed Skating World Cup

WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Japan's Tatsuya Shinhama clinched the men's 500-meter gold in 34.14 seconds, just 0.05 seconds ahead of American prodigy Jordan Stolz at the ISU Speed Skating World Cup in Milwaukee, United States on Sunday.

Stolz had pocketed three golds in the tournament before adding a silver in the men's 500m. The 20-year-old American talent remains top of this season's World Cup standings in t
