Fu Hsing Softball Stadium in Puli (TPE) to host U-15 Women's Softball Asia Cup 2025 from 26-30 March
Softball Asia has announced the six participating teams and the official schedule for the II U-15 Women’s Softball Asia Cup, a qualifier for the WBSC U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup 2025, set to take place in Legnano and Caronno Pertusella, Italy from 27 June to 5 July.
The continental event will run from 26 to 30 March 2025 at Fu Hsing Softball Stadium in Puli, Nantou County (TPE) and will see Hong Kong, China; India; Japan; Korea; Singapore and Chinese Taipei compete for the two available spots in the World Cup.
The teams will play a four-day, single round robin from 26 to 29 March. The top two teams in the final standings will secure tickets to the World Cup and will also face off for the continental title in the gold medal game on 30 March at 13:00 local time. The third- and fourth-place finishers will play for the bronze medal (11:00), while the bottom two teams will meet in the fifth-place game (9:00).
The Chinese Taipei Softball Association and Fu Hsing Softball Stadium also hosted the inaugural edition of the U-15 Women’s Softball Asia Cup in 2023, where Chinese Taipei defeated Japan in the final to become the first-ever Asian champions in this age category.
