Baltimore County softball squads complete banner spring with postseason awards
It was a banner season for Baltimore County softball this spring as two regional champions reached the state tournament and several others were postseason threats to make it there.
Perry Hall (13-4-1) went the farthest, losing to Eleanor Roosevelt, 7-5, in the Class 4A state semifinals. Dulaney (12-6) reached the state quarterfinals where they lost to Chesapeake-AA, 11-7.
Dulaney finished the season ranked No. 10 in The Baltimore Sun’s Top 15 poll and Perry Hall was 11th. Towson (13-3-1) was 12th and Eastern Tech (11-3) finished 13th.
