Central American and Caribbean Games: 'El Che' Reyes to manage Mexico; Watch baseball and softball plus 36 other sports on GameTime

<p>Mexico announced their 24-player roster for the Central American and Caribbean Games. Manager Enrique <em>El Che</em> Reyes, who led the U-18 and U-23 National Teams and helped Mexico win an historic <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2018-u23-baseball-world-cup/home"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">U-23 Baseball World Cup</span></strong></a> in 2018, selected the players from among the Mexican Baseball League (LMB, a WBSC Associate Member) teams.</p>

<p>Catcher Alexis Wilson (Toros de Tijuana) participated in the <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2021-baseball-olympic-games/home"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games</strong></span></a>. Infielder Hector Mora (El Aguila de Veracruz) was on the <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2022-iv-u-23-baseball-world-cup/home"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">U-23 World Cup 2022</span></strong></a> roster. Outfielder Fernando Villegas (Saraperos de Saltillo) participated in the <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2021-u23-baseball-world-cup/home"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">U-23 World Cup 2021</span></strong></a>.</p>

<p>Che Reyes' staff includes bench coach Hector Estrada, who served in the same position at the <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2019-premier12/home"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">WBSC Premier12 2019</span></strong></a>, pitching coach Luis Fernando Mendez, third-base coach Leo Arauz, and first-base coach Carlos Reyes, who was on the U-23 national team staff in 2021 and 2022.</p>
