Update: The Monarchs pulled off the 3-2 upset of No. 1 St. Francis, Mitty’s first victory over St. Francis since 2019 and snapping an eight-game losing streak to the Mountain View school. Mitty defeated Gilroy before that huge win, and followed that up with a victory over St. Ignatius.

No. 2 ST. FRANCIS (17-2)

Update: The Lancers lost 3-2 to then-No. 2 Archbishop Mitty in the team’s first regular season loss to a WCAL school since 2018. St. Francis then rebounded with a five-inning 13-1 victory over a ranked Valley Christian team.

Update: The Matadors have crushed EBAL competition as of late, defeating Carondelet, Dublin and Dougherty Valley by a combined score of 31-3. A huge showdown with San Ramon Valley looms on Thursday, a game that could decide the league title.

Update: The Wolves crushed Foothill and Dougherty Valley to keep pace with Granada in the East Bay Athletic League standings. Sophia Baccei drove in four runs on three hits in an easy 10-0 victory over Dougherty Valley.

Update: Pinole Valley’s dreams of a perfect regular season are close to coming true after the team started the week with a victory over Salesian. Kailani Tatro and company are now four games away from 24-0.

Update: The Falcons are now 4-0 in the Diablo Athletic League after defeating Berean Christian and Clayton Valley Charter. Alexis Sealey allowed just three hits in the 3-1 victory over CVC.

Update: Sequoia is sitting atop the PAL-Bay standings with a 6-1 record, the team bouncing back from two straight losses with league victories over Woodside and Carlmont. Sequoia still has eight league games left to play after defeating Leigh on Monday.

Update: Valley Christian slipped by Presentation in a thrilling 14-13 victory before being run-ruled by St. Francis in the next game. The road doesn’t get much easier for VC, with No. 1 Archbishop Mitty next. Junior Mackenzie Daley hit a home run and had four RBIs in the victory over Presentation.

Update: Milpitas exited its spring break with two 10-run victories over Silver Creek and Gonzales. The team is set to play four straight league opponents in the next two weeks.

Update: The Oakley school is scorching hot, winners of eight straight and a perfect 5-0 in Bay Valley Athletic League competition. Star slugger Madison Evers-Lyles is batting .510 and has 28 RBIs.
