[Softball] Bowen & Reese Power SXU in DH Sweep of Trinity Christian

Palos Heights, Ill. – Senior outfielder Sarah Bowen (Hampshire, Ill./Hampshire) scored three runs with a home run and a double in game one and junior infielder Alexus Reese (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central) slugged a go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the fifth in game two to help guide Saint Xavier University softball (23-11/10-2 CCAC) to a doubleheader sweep of Trinity Christian College (Ill.) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) action Friday afternoon Palos Heights, Ill. The Cougars took game one by a score of 10-1 and won the nightcap, 8-4. With the pair of victories, head coach Erin Mollohan-Corrao earned career wins No. 199 & No. 200 at SXU since taking over the program prior to the 2017 season. She sports a 200-81 record (.712) in her seventh season as head coach at Saint Xavier.
