[Softball] Lancers Sweep the Defenders and Surpass the Program's Record for Most Wins

Yankton, SD – 

Mount Marty hosted Dordt University on Tuesday afternoon in a conference doubleheader. The Lancers won the first game 3-1, and the second game 7-6. These two wins move the team's overall record to  23-9 and 11-3 in GPAC play. This is the most wins in the program's history, as the past record was 21 wins. The team is currently tied for the most conference wins in a season at 11. After this sweep, MMU is now sitting second in the conference. 

Not only is this team breaking program records, but they are doing it under Coach Bryant's first season as head coach. "I am super proud of this team and everything they have accomplished so far. They are here to play and keep doing what they are doing".
