Africa: 2021-2022 baseball, softball season opens in Burkina Faso

The Baseball and Softball Federation of Burkina Faso (FBBS) opened its 2021-2022 baseball and softball season on 12 December with an All-Star Game, featuring the best players of the previous season.

FBBS President Ibrahima Sibore welcomed the Ambassador of Japan to Burkina Faso Masaaki Kato, the Minister of Sports Dominique André Marie Nana and the Secretary-General of the African Baseball Confederation Ibrahim N'Diaye.

"We urged every club to start the activity," commented Sibore. "We have a lot of competitions scheduled for the 2021-2022 season."

FBBS used the occasion to distribute baseball and softball material to various clubs.
