Chinese Taipei moves to 3-0 in U-18 Softball World Cup

<p>Chinese Taipei swept their doubleheader today with an 11-5 victory over the Netherlands to remain unbeaten in the WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup. The Asian squad got 15 hits in the game. Both teams used three pitchers in the game. </p>

<p>Chinese Taipei got the lead in the game with a three-run third inning. And even when the Netherlands came close to tie the game in a pair of ocasions, Chinese Taipei answered with some insurance runs.</p>

<p>Ching-Yu Chen was the starting pitcher for Chinese Taipei and winner of the game. She tossed 5.1 innings while giving up five hits, three runs and two walks, with one strikeout.</p>
