Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles Softball Place Two on NCCAA Mid-East Region Squad

Belhaven, MS: The NCCAA recently announced the All-Region Softball Teams for 2019. The voting was conducted by the coaches of each region. Two members of the ALC squad were named to the 15 member Mid-East team after leading their squad to the most wins in school history.

 For Alice Lloyd College, sophomore Jada Estep tied for sixth in the voting while freshman Alyssa Clark finished thirteenth.

Estep finished the season with an exceptional .509 batting average. This included 12 doubles, 8 triples, and 2 home runs. She scored 22 runs and had 31 RBI’s, while also registering 30 stolen bases. Her slugging percentage was .824.

Clark finished the season with an excellent .485 batting average. This included 15 doubles, 5 triples, and 2 home runs. She scored 39 runs and had 46 RBI’s. Her slugging percentage was.792.
