It was the second heart attack for Lajeunesse, 58, who survived his first about 12 years ago. This time, he had two stents and a defibrillator implanted in his chest.
He spent a week at St. Peter's Hospital before coming home. He missed eight Siena games and hated following the action on his computer. He wanted to be back with his team.
"It absolutely drives you crazy,'' Lajuenesse said. "Being here and seeing what's happening is a real good feel for everything. You get a good feeling for the game, for what's going on and I would have been much more nervous at home than I was right here."
