[Softball] Unexpected early exit for Tigers from CCAC Tourney
ROSEMONT, Ill. – When day one of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament is full of upsets, it means that day two will see the top seeded teams playing each other in "win and move on" games. Those games also mean that someone's season is coming to an earlier than expected end. That was where the No. 2 seeded Olivet Nazarene University softball team found themselves on Friday, May 4. After dropping their tournament opener, the Tigers easily made it past Indiana University – South Bend 10-2 on Friday morning, but found themselves on the short end of another 1-0 game with No. 1 seeded University of St. Francis (Ill.) to conclude their season.
