[Softball] Cal Pac Softball Stumbles on Offense

Simpson started the week with a doubleheader sweep of Northwest Christian, but the No. 18 Red Hawks struggled through two days of their own tournament at the end of the week.  SU scored 21 runs in two games against the Beacons, but tallied only 20 in four games in the Simpson Softball Triangular #1 in Redding, Calif.  SU was not the only California Pacific Conference team to falter offensively.  La Sierra went 2-2 at the Triple Crown Tournament in West Covina, Calif., and then dropped a doubleheader to Concordia (Ore.).  Marymount California and Antelope Valley were both winless in their games last week.
