[Softball] MACU Softball Earns NCCAA Team Academic Award

Greenville, SC -- The Mid-America Christian University Softball program has earned the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Team Academic award, the organization has released.

To be eligible for this award, teams must have a minimum grade point average of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale for all combined student-athletes on the team.

MACU was one of only 11 institutions to have a winter/spring sport receive this honor, with the Softball Evangels recording a team GPA of 3.5.
