KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Seniors Payton Walter and Samantha Smith both tossed five-inning complete-game shutouts, and Avila hitters did not strike out once over the pair of games, leading the Eagles (26-15, 13-5 KCAC) to a pair of identical 8-0 victories in five innings over Southwestern (3-31, 1-16 KCAC) in a rain-soaked Senior Day Saturday at The Z.
