Bowling Green, Ky.- The softball team, seeded No. 3 in the Bowling Green Bracket, were back in action on Thursday in the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round. The team were playing the No. 1 seed in the bracket, the Central Methodist University Lady Eagles. On the line was an Opening Round championship, and a trip to the NAIA Softball World Series, both program firsts. As a virtue of being the lone undefeated team, the Lady Bulldogs had to lose twice not to go to the World Series.
