[Softball] Rochester Hires Calnen to head up softball program

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - (RU Release) - Rochester University recently hired Tom Calnen as its new head softball coach. Calnen spent 27 years in charge of the softball program at Troy High School and led his team to seven quarterfinal and four finals appearances on his way to being named coach of the year 18 times.

Calnen inherits a team that hasn't played a full season in two years due to the pandemic. The 2019 season was cancelled and the Warriors finished 2-11-1 last season.
