[Softball] SOFTBALL: USK, SU Earn Splits On the Road

Saint Katherine took the first game of a road doubleheader with San Diego Christian, and Simpson traveled to William Jessup where the two squads split a twin bill.  The Firebirds were no-hit by SDCC in the first meeting between the teams, but this time USK led from start to finish in a 7-2 win.  The Red Hawks, who beat WJU twice in their Round Robin Tournament two weeks ago, could not generate any offense in the opener, but they came back in the second game to earn an 8-6 victory.  USK will be on the road at SU this weekend to open up California Pacific Conference play.
