Coronavirus throttles Metro teams’ pursuits of national championships
The Foothill-Pleasanton softball team and the baseball team from De La Salle-Concord were each among the favorites to finish their respective seasons No. 1 in the country. But now the players and coaches are sidelined and all are left to wonder when — or even if — they will play again in 2020.
