[Softball] Jaguars defeat No. 2 USAO, go 3-2 in Portland

PORTLAND, Texas – The University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars softball team may have slipped slight on Friday, but managed to make a statement Saturday at the Southern Collegiate Sports NAIA Invitational.

After suffering a pair of one-run loses on Friday to No. 16 Columbia (Mo.) and to McPherson College, who was receiving votes, the Jaguars put everything together for a pair of wins on Saturday to finish with a 3-2 record at the tournament.
