[Softball] Jaguars capture series against Eagles

Michelle Revels (JR/Corpus Christi, TX) threw a complete game and the University of Houston-Victoria fought off a late charge by the Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles to capture a 2-1 win in a Red River Athletic Conference game on Saturday at the Victoria youth Sports Complex.

The Jaguars win the three-games series and improve to 7-9 on the year and 2-4 in conference play, while the Eagles fall to 6-11, 3-5 in conference. The Jaguars will be back in action Tuesday when the take on Oklahoma City in a 2 p.m. doubleheader in Farmers Branch.
