[Softball] Lady Warriors Open Season with Trip to Missouri

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Midland University opened their 2018 season on Monday with three games in Springfield, Missouri at the Evangel University Tournament. After storms swept through the area over the weekend, the Warriors were able to take to the diamond in a condensed format on Monday afternoon. Midland began the day with an 8 inning victory over (RV) Williams Baptist College, 2-1. They followed that up however with a pair of two-run losses, 7-5 to Central Baptist College and 2-0 to Lindenwood University-Belleville.
