[Softball] Trevecca Softball | Open 2018 Season Thursday in Huntsville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team is picked to finish fifth in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Softball Preseason Coaches' Poll presented by Under Armour.

Trevecca received 107 points, good for fifth in the preseason rankings, something head coach Ben Tyree thinks will motivate his team.

"This is where we need to be," Tyree said. "It gives our team a jolt and reminds them we have work to do to and hopefully go into the season with a chip on our shoulder and earn a higher finish than this prediction."
