[Softball] Junior Varsity Softball sweeps doubleheader with Cumberlands Thursday

COLUMBIA, KY.  – The Blue Raiders junior varsity softball team swept a doubleheader against Cumberlands (Ky.) Thursday afternoon at Marilyn D. Sparks Park. With the 4-3 victory in the first game the Blue Raiders (6-3) won the Fall League Championship.

Breanna Clark picked up the win after going five innings, giving up two earned runs, one unearned run, five hits and registered nine strikeouts. Chandra Litchfield was 2-for-2 with two stolen bases as Brenna Wethington was 1-for-2 with two RBIs. Madison Bryant and Kayla McCauley both went 1-for-2 with an RBI each.
