New Rail Jam Announced In New Hampshire, Winner To Earn Bid To The Best Event In Women's Snowboarding

In April, some of the best snowboarders in the world will gather at Woodward Park City for The Uninvited, the best event in women’s riding.

How does one get invited to The Uninvited, though? Riders in New England will get the chance through a qualifier at McIntyre Ski Area, New Hampshire.

And the winner will get some cash in their hands, too. That contest goes down on January 18, 2026. See below.

Park Affair, a nonprofit aimed at fostering community among female riders, will host a rail jam called “A Grand in Your Hand.” The winner of the open category will actually win $5,000, and perhaps more importantly, a bid to compete at The Uninvited in April. Just like The Uninvited, Park Affair is for-women, by-women.

Second place will take home $1,500, and third place wins $500. The contest is a rail jam format, and each group will have a specific time frame for their session. Here are the three groups that will compete:

• Group A -  Groms 15 and under competing for prizes in a 30 minute jam session.
• Group B - Just For Fun. There will be two 30 minute jam sessions, one for men and one for women.
• Group C - The Open category is the women's specific category, competing for the $6,000 cash Prize.  This winner will ride in The Uninvited.

Here’s the schedule for the day:

• Registration: 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the lodge 
• Groms: 11 a.m.  to 11:30 a.m.
• Just for Fun Men: 11:45 a.m.  to 12:15 p.m.
• Just for Fun Women: 12: 30 p.m.  to 1:00 p.m.
• Open Women: 1:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Awards: 3 p.m.
