Snowboarding king Jake Burton Carpenter, 65, dies from cancer complications
Jake Burton Carpenter, who turned snowboarding into a popular sport in the U.S. and around the world, has died at age 65.
The former New York resident was battling testicular cancer, which he had fought back in 2011 before the disease returned this year.
