The Ikon Pass Offers To Pay Guests up to $60 in “Mountain Credits” for Going Skiing

Imagine how cool it would be if your ski pass gave you points the same way your credit card does?

The Ikon Pass had a similar thought. In an email sent to pass holders, the company shared an offer: skiers could earn "Mountain Credits" by skiing at Ikon Pass destinations in the US during the 2025-26 season.

Here's how it works: skiers must register in order to earn Mountain Credits. $20 in Mountain Credits will then be earned for each day skied at an Ikon Pass destination through February 25, 2026.

Mountain Credits will then be added to Ikon Pass holders' accounts by March 6, 2026, and must be used before May 31, 2026. Skiers are limited to three days of earning or $60 total in Mountain Credits. This isn't cash, mind you. Instead, the credits can be used at "select food and beverage restaurants, retail outlets and equipment rental shops," according to the Ikon Pass.

Basically, if you sign up and go visit a participating resort, you could earn enough credits to pay for your $20 ski area hamburger, a new pair of ski socks or two at a mountain ski shop, or a round of Bloody Marys for all your pals. Honestly, not a bad deal.

What's not clear, though, is whether every Ikon Pass holder is eligible for the current promotion, Fox13 reported on Wednesday. Our advice? Check your email.
