Maple Ski Ridge to celebrate 18th annual fall fest
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- For 18 years, a Capital Region ski resort has celebrated autumn's arrival with a family-friendly festival. The 18th Annual Maple Ski Ridge Fall Festival is scheduled to kick off on October 11 at 9 a.m. for a day of fall fun.
Until 4 p.m., community members are invited to Maple Skir Ridge for the festival that includes a craft and vendor fair, antique car show, tractor show, pumpkin painting, and more. Festival goers can also pick from a selection of food trucks, beer, and wine throughout the day.
Parking is $5 for the festival, and $8 for chairlift rides and the bounce houses. There are also $15 bracelets for unlimited chairlift rides and the bounce houses.
The ski resort is also raising money for the Schenectady Firefighters Cancer Foundation with a silent auction. The Schenectady Firefighters Cancer Association helps community firefighters with cancer detection.
