NOTICE OF LODGE CLOSURE-Thursday, November 14th

Due to a pre-planned repair of the hydro lines in the area BC Hydro will be shutting off the power to conduct work in the area on Thursday, Nov 14th.  (see full details at BC Hydro)

The lodge and all operations will be closed for the day. 

Electricity needs at Sovereign Lake include:

  • Emergency equipment: Digital Radios, phones, computers
  • Ticket and rental sales
  • Water (pumped from our well on site)
  • Toilets
  • Lights for safety in stairwells
Please be advised that anyone accessing the trails during the outage will be doing so at their own risk.
Emergency response from Sovereign Lake will not be available while we are closed.
Call 911 for emergencies when we are closed.
The outhouses and Old Day lodge are open and available for use.
Operations will resume on Friday morning at 9 am. Thank you for your understanding.
