First group of Latvian Olympic athletes depart for Beijing
RIGA, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- The first group of 20 Latvian athletes departed for Beijing on Wednesday for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
Heading to Beijing is Latvia's entire luge team of 10 athletes and five coaches, six cross-country skiers and four support staff, three skeleton sliders and five coaches, and one short track speed skater and his assistant.
