French skiing industry estimates €1 billion pandemic-induced loss to retail, manufacturing activity
The industry has suffered a loss of approximately €1 billion as ski lifts and cable cars have been shut down in French resorts, with “the worst yet to come” according to industry association Union Sport et Cycle.
