ISTANBUL, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Furkan Akar, a 19-year-old Turkish speed skater, is very excited about representing his country in the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics.

Akar won his quota to the Winter Olympics at the Short Track Speed Skating World Cup held in the Netherlands last November.
